Skin To Skin

August 7, 2012

Dear heart of mine,

Shall we hold each other,

Shall we bring our bodies together,

While I touch your toes with mine,

Healing the hurt from a day of trials,

Hard work and binding,

To employers we do not wish to see,

And slaving for ideals that are not our own,

Shall we lie together, skin to skin,

Finding soft comfort in our bodies,

And peace in the palms of our hands?
