The Colour Of Music

September 10, 2012

Music is the colour

Of my life,

Adding splashes and vibrancy,

And breaking up the mundane,

Sounds are explosions

Of joy,

And monotony is non existent.

It electrifies your body,

And satisfies your mind,

Keeping you jumping,

And your heart

Pumping.

The beat crawls

Into your fingers,

And races on by,

Leaving melody

In your skull,

And a dancing in your toes.

The notes intensify your feelings,

And lyrics add voice to

Your thoughts,

While the rhythm moves you,

Bringing tears to your eyes,

And putting laughter on your lips;

Music is the colour

Of my life.

  2. Most beautiful …Amazing ..cute and deep feelings depicted through magical words !

    • Aw thank you for your lovely comment. I’m glad you enjoyed 🙂

  3. Is true, yes, even about the colours..funny, in Saudi Arabia, where I lived, I missed the music in shops, as none is played there..but now don’t even notice it. The vibrations, yes, and the therapeutical power of music…needed

    • I would miss the music so much. Life is much less colourful without it! It certainly can be healing.

  4. Beautifully put and exact,y what music does to me too! Very powerful thing, music 🙂

    • It is a powerful and wonderful thing! If a day comes when I can’t hear music anymore, it will be a very sad one indeed…
      Thank you x

  5. This is so true. I love the flow of your words. They vibrate with their own sound. You’re so right about music being the color of life. Sometimes events are so black and white until a melody fills in the brilliant bright details. Very well done!!!!!!

    • That is very true. Music simply enhances every experience or can even add clarity to a situation… Thank you very much for stopping by 🙂 xx
