Hear The Ocean

September 13, 2012

Standing on the shore,

Hear the ocean’s roar,

Let the waves wash through you,

And the nature of something so primeval,

Travel to your core,

Gazing across the deep, blue sea,

As far as ever the eye can see,

The history and memories,

Held beneath this liquid surface,

Far precede all the things

That you have done.

So with reflection in your eyes,

You’ll come to realise,

That a great, great ocean,

Is a grand thing

For putting a life in perspective.
